For the official day of Sant Jordi our 5 bookshops involved will give a rose as a gift to readers who buy a book, and all of this featuring three events including an artistic performance by Benny Nemerofsky, a poetry reading by Anna Aguilar Amat and a film screening by Cinemaattic.

GARDEN ROSE Benny Nemerofsky Ramsay and Mark Clintberg. A participatory floral exchange. Guests are invited to arrive with a single flower and see its incorporation into a dynamic display made up of more than fifty vases. Leave with the gift of another flower, different from the one you arrived with, as the sun sets on Sant Jordi.

Typewronger Books is an independent Edinburgh bookshop trading in new books and typewriters (sales, servicing and repairs.)

They also offer subscription services, act as a publisher and host a varied events program. Typewronger Books is proud to be operating alongside McNaughtan's since 2nd of June 2018, Scotland's oldest antiquarian and secondhand bookshop.
